அவன், இதோ,ஒரு கன்னிகை கர்ப்பவதியாகி ஒரு குமாரனைப் பெறுவாள்: அவருக்கு இம்மானுவேல் என்று பேரிடுவார்கள் என்று சொன்னான். இம்மானுவேல் என்பதற்குத் தேவன் நம்மோடிருக்கிறார் என்று அர்த்தமாம்.

மேற்கண்ட வசனத்தில்  " இம்மானுவேல் " என்று
குறிப்பிடப்படுபவர் யார் ?

Bible says about Jesus many places.... If we see Isaiah 9:6 he will be called 1. Wonderful counsellor 2. Mighty God 3. Everlasting father 4. Prince of peace ..... But this is not a name for Jesus. But the prophecy says about Jesus ...in this way.
Like wise Immanuel means "God with us".. That means He is God. came to this world as a Flesh .....to be with us that's all.....

மத்தேயு 1:23 குறிப்பிடுவது இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவையா ?. அப்படியானால் தீர்க்கதரிசனம் என்ன சொல்கிறது என்று கவனிப்போம் .

" அவருக்கு இம்மானுவேல் என்று பேரிடுவார்கள் "
என்பது தீர்க்கதரிசனமாக சொல்லப்பட்ட வார்த்தை .
இதில் " பேரிடுவார்கள் " என்ற சொல்லை கவனிக்கவும் .

லூக்கா 2:21 ன்படி குழந்தைக்கு " இயேசு " என்றுதான் பெயரிட்டார்கள் . இம்மானுவேல் என்றல்ல......

அப்படியானால் இது தீர்க்கதரிசன தோல்வி என்றாகிறது . !!!!

Actually , I refered Tamil Bible , because we are discussing in a forum for TAMIL SPEAKING PEOPLE. .......This web page says so...

If English Bible give different meaning , then , do you say Tamil Bible is wrong ?

It refers Jesus because he is the God and came to this world as a flesh ........"God with us"

So, you find Tamil Bible is not property translated, and decided to go the English Bible way ?

Hello don't misunderstand my text

Immanuel means God with us ...
Virgin birth also given.....
So try to understand who is that person .....
He is Jesus that means saviour .....
He comes from God .....
God....with us (Jesus)

I didn't misunderstand your text . Even if I did , that doesn't matter now.
What I was trying to emphasize are
1.You have avoided Tamil text , because it turns out to be a prophecy failure.
2. After 2015 years a person is calling Jesus as lmmanuel .

So a natural question is , why did HS misguide Tamil speaking people ? If you think Tamil bible gives the meaning it intended to give , then why don't you comment on Tamil text.
