John 11: 35 Jesus wept... this shows few things.
1. Jesus was fully human and fully divine. In his humanity he felt the pain of the family of Lazarus and wept. And in his divinity he raised Lazarus up from the dead.
2. He feels the pain we go throguh in life. He understand our hurts be it emotional physical or financial. And he brings us out from it.
3. Remember Lazarus never prayed to be risen from the dead. His sister never asked Jesus to raise Lazarus from the dead . She believed that on the day of resurrection her brother will rise. So it is important to believe... Believe that we will all rise up on the day of judgement. Remember that their will be a say of judgement and those who do not believe in him will perish.
4. Jesus says here that he is the resurrection and life.
This is how I have understood the verse Jesus wept...
Stay blessed. Grow strong in prayers
