But he gives us more grace. That is why Scripture says: "God opposes the proud but shows favor to the humble."
Being King of Kings , Jesus washed the feet of His disciples. Humility is the mark of a true believer. Humility in words, thoughts and actions matters a lot for God to give us Grace to overcome sin. In other words ,Pride takes away the Grace of God.
Whatever makes a person proud of ,it might be our scripture knowledge, holiness, house, car, beauty or position , God opposes such people. Praying for humility must be an essential part of every believer’s prayer.
